Ilham Zakiyev meets members of the judo Paralympic team
Vice President of the National Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Disciplinary Commission Ilham Zakiyev met with members of Azerbaijan Paralympic team consisting of judo and juniors.
The preparations for the international Grand Prix in Baku were discussed during the meeting. Speaking about the level of physical, psychological and psychological preparation of athletes.
The head coach of men’s team Ibrahim Ibrahimov spoke about the preparation of athletes. He said that starting from April 14, the national team will leave for Goygol training camp.
Head coach of women’s team Ramin Ibrahimov said in his speech that the committee created all the conditions for the high level participation of the judo team in competitions. Our athletes regularly participate in training sessions. The necessary material and technical basis has been created. Thus, the main task of athletes is to win medals at the highest level.
The victory at the Grand Prix in Baku to win the license points for the XVI Summer Paralympics “Tokyo 2020” is very important.
